Day of Tigers and Fun Revitalize Resident’s Energy

Visions of eagles and monkeys danced in their head, the tiger was the favorite, that’s what they said!! A day full of comaraderie, favorite animals and a Funticular ride revitalized the resident’s energy at a recent John Ball Zoo visit! A crew of staff and volunteers happily escorted the resident’s in the summertime sun to an enjoyable day.

At Ascension Homes our goal is provide enriching experiences to our residents. This year the residents chose a visit to the zoo! Although the animals were the highlight, shopping for memorabilia and enjoying the long walk on the winding, hilly paths uplifted everyone’s spirits. The entire group was left sunkissed and tired from a day full of fun.
